2026 Pride Celebration
June is Pride Month, and Epicism celebrated in the epitome of style. In the week or so leading up to the event, guildies were encouraged to create their best mogs, and they showed up for the inaugural Darkspear Dash in resplendent, Pride-themed glory.
After running the 42 gates, we retreated to the Tree House, generously built by Tree, one of our favorite guildies. Set up as a fashion runway, it served as the perfect setting for a fun-filled transmog contest.

The beating heart of Epicism is a foundation built on inclusion, and that made coming together in celebration of Pride a deeply meaningful and important experience for each of us.
This year’s inaugural Darkspear Dash served as the perfect backdrop for an event that brought us together in support of our LGBTQIA+ guildies, friends, and loved ones. Stories were shared about the importance of acceptance, and many heartfelt tears were shed as those willing spoke about the gravity of their life experiences, and the appreciation felt for the unique community our specific group of friends has created. In this place, everyone feels safe and welcome. Free to truly be themselves without fear. To us, that is exactly what a celebration of pride should be—not for a single event or even for an entire month, but as a manner of simply being all year long.
