If we were looking to join a guild, we’d have some questions. Here are some of them. Got others? Find Gale in game and he’ll be happy to answer anything. Yes, anything. You will get an answer, however he cannot vouch for its accuracy or applicability.
What’s the Schedule?
At present, the guild’s “active hours” are evenings, Pacific Time, from about 6pm until 11pm. This is obviously our chosen hobby, so we’re usually around most weekends as well.
Who is Epicism for?
We’d love to say that Epicism is for everyone, but that’s just not true. Some people won’t like us at all. We chalk this up to people being like flavors. Some folks are lima beans. Some are chocolate. Some are black licorice. We don’t like everyone, and everyone doesn’t like us—and that’s okay.
As for who Epicism is for, well… it’s who it’s for. We are adults with responsibilities who come here to escape an increasingly chaotic world. Our aim is not to turn WoW into another obligation, but to have fun with cool people who want to have fun.
What roles do we need?
Offhand, we need at least a couple of people who want to help us build a guild unlike any other. Ideally, we’d have a couple of folks who want to organize raids at a set cadence. We’d love someone to help us with recruitment. We’d be super thankful for that special person who thrives on helping others to chase rares or knock out achievements.
You mentioned raids. What’s our philosophy there?
If memory serves, Epicism was fourth on the realm to take down the Lich King during Wrath. We’ve done the semi-hardcore raiding thing, and we remember the glory and the strife. We don’t have any particular expectation with regards to how raids are run, however we would love to see a raiding culture that helps individuals to meet their goals.
If your team of hardcore raiders wants to carry the Epicism banner, we are not opposed so long as you adhere to the code. Other guild mates will have other goals, and that’s alright too. Overall, your success in Epicism will depend on your willingness to help others.
Are you casual? Hardcore? Hybrid?
There’s a sweet spot in between casual and hardcore that die-hard hardcore players will describe as casual. We’re aiming for that. It is unlikely that Midnight Realm Firsts will occur in Epicism, but we won’t rule it out either.
Tell me about Comms.
For now, Epicism occurs mostly via in-game chat however a comprehensive Discord is also available for those who wish to communicate in other ways. Information will be provided to new members upon request.

We’re not going to lie. Right now? It’s quiet. Too quiet. That’s where you come in. Epicism is rebuilding.
